Before the Throne: Road to Damascus's 10th Anniversary Concert
This 2018-2019 school year rings in our tenth year as UCLA's premier Christian a cappella group, and we want to celebrate that during our Annual Spring Concert! With that, we are excited to announce our biggest Spring Concert yet! YOU and your loved ones are invited to “Before the Throne” — the 10th Anniversary Concert of Road to Damascus, UCLA’s only Christian A Cappella group! Come join us as we commemorate ten years of glorifying God through musical excellence and community service! Enjoy a music-filled night with RtD, filled to the brim with an unique collection of motown, gospel, and Disney classics, along with new pop and EDM favorites! Also, come along with us as we take a trip down memory lane and reminisce on 10 years of RtD! Food and refreshments will be provided! All are welcome to join us on this fun-filled evening! Through joyfully glorifying God through our music, we wish to reflect on a comforting truth to open minds and receptive hearts: because of Christ and His sacrifice, we are able to boldly approach the throne of God in times of victory and in times of need. "Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need." (Hebrews 4:16 ESV) PARKING AND DIRECTIONS: Parking is available at Lots 3 and LS (Law School Parking), all of which are a decent walk from the Broad Building. It costs $6 for 2-hour parking in Lot 3, and ~$9 at Lot LS. If you don't mind walking a bit (maybe a little more than a bit), there is street parking east of Hilgard or west of Gayley Ave in the apartments. Be careful of the posted parking signs! To get to the venue from Lot LS, walk into the Sculpture Garden (large garden filled with numerous metal sculptures). The Broad Building is the building furthest to the left! There is a gigantic, bronze sculpture right next to the building, and you will see a large flight of stairs nearby. Walk up those stairs to reach the second level, and the foyer of Broad 2160E is right through the large glass doors. (We will share pictures soon to help you find it!) There are two entrances to the left and right of the foyer! There is limited seating, so please consider arriving earlier to line up before doors open. Hope to see you there!
